King William House
Project type
Workplace, Entrance
Date
May 2026
Location
Bristol
The refurbishment of the entrance lobby at King William House was designed to enhance the building's arrival experience while introducing modern end-of-journey facilities that support sustainable travel.
The project transformed an underutilised area into a contemporary, multifunctional space incorporating secure cycle storage, lockers, shower facilities and changing areas. The design balances practicality with a refined aesthetic, using a restrained monochrome palette, durable materials and clean architectural detailing to create a cohesive and welcoming environment.
Every element was carefully considered to maximise functionality without compromising on visual quality. From integrated cycle storage and robust galvanised steel detailing to bespoke wayfinding and minimalist finishes, the completed scheme provides tenants with facilities that encourage active commuting while elevating the overall perception of the building.
The result is a functional, future-focused workplace environment that enhances the everyday user experience and adds long-term value to the property.
